About Us Dave Giddens Sailmakers Ltd, was established in Auckland, "City of Sails" in 1975. We have shown ourselves over this time to be a market leader in sail making and associated products within the industry, using both modern and traditional crafts and methods.	. Dave Giddens
The business has grown over the years and specializes in sails for small racing dinghies to ocean going or "cruising yachts". We also repair or alter sails to requirements.
	Other marine specialties include dodgers, sail covers, bimmies, weather cloths, hatch covers and interior / exterior squabs. As well as the above we make helicopter banners and hot-mix covers for the road industry. With our high frequency welding machines we make banners for the sign writing industry, PVC silo bags, awnings, shade canopies, and PVC sail structures for architects.
We have a busy hire section to the building industry with Tarpaulins - American Ezyup tents, very popular with NZ film sets and for functions we also have 9000 x 6000 frame marquee.
