Terms and Conditions

Our Aim

We pride ourselves on our professionalism and the quality of our workmanship. Our aim is to provide you with a high quality service at a reasonable cost.

How We Charge

Repairs, alterations and ad-hoc jobs are typically carried out on a time and materials basis, which we believe to be the fairest for all involved. We can also provide estimates or quote a job when requested.
Hourly rate

Tradesperson hourly rate:
$90 + GST / hour ($103.50 including GST)

This price fairly reflects the skills, experience and overhead costs associated with delivering a high quality service. We value your business and we don’t muck around when we’re on the clock. Our time is tracked using an app-based job management tool.

Minimum Charge

Minimum charge:
$45 + GST ($51.75 including GST.)

No matter how small the job there is certain work that is always involved, including job creation/completion tasks and associated administration. Having a minimum charge helps us cover our costs on the smaller jobs.

Materials

We source quality materials at preferential rates from a range of specialist suppliers. They are marked up to cover costs of ordering, handling, wastage and stock holding.

Our experience has led us to specify a range of products we know to be of high quality, and we will recommend or specify them when we deem suitable. You are, of course, welcome to request that we use specific products.

Estimates

If we estimate the cost of a job we will provide an estimated price range. The less certain we are, the wider the range will be.
We may not always be able to provide an on-the-spot estimate – in these cases we will ask that you leave the item with us and we will get back to you as soon as possible with the estimate.

If at any point we discover something that materially affects the accuracy of our estimate we will stop and get in touch to agree a way forward.

Fixed Price/Quoted Jobs

If you would prefer a fixed price for your job we can prepare you a formal quote. This will likely require you to leave the items with us until one of our team members has time to accurately draw up a quote.

50% deposit is requested upon acceptance.

Payment

  • Payment is due upon collection of goods.
  • Payment can be made by cash, internet banking, or EFTPOS (debit/credit card).
  • There is a 2% charge for credit card payments (Visa or Mastercard).
